At a Glance
- Denoiser is designed to process selected audio and video on your device.
- We do not operate a media-processing server and we do not receive, upload, sell, or use your recordings, selected media files, or denoised outputs to train AI models.
- If you export or share a file, the destination you choose may receive that file under its own privacy practices.
- The app uses third-party services for app distribution, purchases, ads, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and push notification delivery. Those services may process app, device, usage, purchase, advertising, notification, and diagnostic data as described below.
Information Processed on Your Device
Recordings
If you use the recorder, Denoiser uses your device microphone to capture audio. The recording is stored locally on your device and processed locally to reduce background noise.
We do not receive or upload microphone recordings.
Selected audio and video files
If you select files from your device, Denoiser reads the selected files so it can process them. For video files, the app may extract the audio track, reduce noise, and combine the cleaned audio back with the video.
Selected files and processed outputs remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
Local app data
Denoiser stores app data locally on your device, including:
- Processing history.
- File metadata shown in the app, such as file name, size, duration, format, and processing date.
- Paths or references to app-managed output files.
- App preferences, language/theme choices, onboarding state, paywall state, notification preferences, and similar settings.
This local data is used to run the app, show your Library, remember your choices, and keep the app working between sessions.
Permissions
Denoiser may request permissions only when they are needed for app features:
- Microphone: to record audio when you choose to use the recorder.
- Photos, videos, audio, or file access: to let you select, save, import, or export media.
- Notifications: to show processing progress, completion notifications, and optional local marketing reminders if you keep them enabled.
- Foreground service and battery optimization permissions on Android: to help long-running processing continue while the app is in the background.
You can change app permissions in your device settings at any time. If you deny a permission, the related feature may be unavailable or limited.
Third-Party Services and Data Collection
Denoiser integrates third-party SDKs and platform services. These services are governed by their own privacy policies and may process data independently from us.
Google Firebase
Denoiser uses Firebase services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Firebase may process information such as app opens, sessions, feature interactions, in-app purchase events, device model, operating system, approximate geography, app version, installation identifiers, crash logs, performance data, diagnostics, Firebase installation IDs, session IDs, and push notification registration tokens.
We use Firebase to understand app reliability and usage, diagnose crashes, configure app behavior, and deliver or support notifications. We do not send your selected media files or denoised outputs to Firebase for processing.
Firebase privacy information is available at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy and Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Google AdMob
Denoiser may show ads using Google AdMob, including banner, interstitial, app open, native, and rewarded ads.
Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share data such as IP address, ad and app interactions, diagnostic information, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and related account/device identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google settings.
We do not send your recordings, selected media files, or denoised outputs to AdMob for ad targeting.
Google Mobile Ads data disclosure and Google advertising privacy information is available at https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
RevenueCat and app stores
Denoiser uses RevenueCat and the applicable app store, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, to manage purchases, subscriptions, trials, lifetime purchases, purchase restoration, and premium entitlement status.
RevenueCat and app stores may process data such as app user identifiers, purchase tokens, transaction identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, subscription status, purchase dates, renewal status, refund status, and device/platform information. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Operating system and sharing destinations
Denoiser may use device-level services such as file pickers, media libraries, notification systems, microphone APIs, foreground services, and sharing sheets. If you export or share a file to another app, cloud storage provider, messaging service, or local folder, that destination receives the file because you selected it.
